Parade Staging Area & Pre-Route Map

Parade vehicles enter from W Fair Ave in the left lane and turn west into staging rows 1 through 7 (spots 1-15 south, 16-30 north), row 8, and row 9 for horses. Non-parade vehicles use the right lane to the drop-off area and non-parade parking near the #11 Beef Barn, then exit only to High St. Band line-up and tractors are south of the rows. Parade exit only is on N Columbus St. West and north gates are closed. Firework setup inside the track is a restricted area. Rules: enter through the main gate only at Broad St. and Fair Ave.; line-up starts 8:30 AM; have your position card; only parade vehicles in the parade area; horse trailers may proceed to end of row 9 to unload. Staging map is illustrative and based on the official Fairfield County Fairgrounds layout. Exact row assignments are sent to registrants via email. All units must be in place by 8:30 AM.

Entry & Staging Instructions

  1. Enter through the Main Gate (Broad Street and Fair Avenue) ONLY. Follow parade helpers from the gate directly to your pre-assigned staging spot.
  2. Parade starts to line up at 8:30 AM. All units must be in place and ready to roll by 10:00 AM sharp. Plan your travel time accordingly.
  3. Have your position card with you. Your pre-assigned row and position number will be emailed to you after registration. Bring that card on parade day.
  4. Only vehicles that are in the parade are permitted in the parade staging area. Non-parade vehicles must use the designated parking areas. Please share this detail with all entrants and support crew.
  5. Horse trailers may proceed to the end of Row 9 to unload. The Horse Corral is located on the west side of the staging area.
